Panajachel and the future of the tour

The group has made it to Panajachel Guadalajara where we have set up gigs everynight. We rode here from Chichicastanango, which was a cool little town. We have been playing a show every night so far and will continue to play shows here until Monday. On Monday night or Tuesday morning I am not positive bu I think we are gong to head towards Antigua and then Guatemala City and take a bus to El Salvador for the elections. From San Salvador,El Salvador we will take another bus to Costa Rica and then potenntially ride into Panama. Then afer Panama we will take a bus back up to Mexico!   I am excited to get back on the road and continue our way down south towards Panama. I am also excited to go back to Mexico where I met a lot of cool people and made some new friends.

So now we are off handing ou flyers for the concert tonight and trying to promote the band a little bit. Heres the list of gigs for the weekend.

Sabado/Saturday-Solomon´s Porch-9pm

Domingo/Sunday-PanaRock-7pm

Lunes/Monday-Las Chinitas-7pm

Right on you guys, I’m stoked it’s working out for you. I just got back to grass valley from mexico, and was hoping our paths would cross. Next time. If you’re still in Lago de Atitlan, you should check out the cliff jumping at san marcos. Also, in San Pedro, there’s an awesome mayan ruin out on the point (pics on my website farawayfilms.com). If you’re going to hang in antigua for a bit, there’s a really cool volcano you can hike to and cook over the lava.

On your trip back through Mexico, any plans to stay in Sayulita again?

Hey guys. Thanks for the awesome, fun-packed show at The Buddha, San Pedro la Laguna, Guatemala last night and for sharing the stage with our humble band, Oback Barama, at Barrio the previous night. You really inspired a lot of us lazy lots here in our sleepy little pueblo. Stop by on the way back North. (By the way, Panajachel is in Guatemala and not Guadalajara.)

    XOXO,
