this afternoon we head to La Bufadora to stay in the house of one Kipchoge’s old teachers. Tomorrow we might check out some nearby hot springs, and then come back to Ensenada for a possible weekend performance. The tourists are emptying off the cruise ships as I write…

Hey people:
That’s a terrific newspaper write up. There’s great magic all over Mexico, and you’re going to find a bunch of it.
I’m not very familiar with Baja California, but I do remember a great story about La Bufadora related to me 30 years ago. My friends visited the “town” of La Bufadora. The parked their car and hiked into the hills, where they stayed all day and watched the sun set in the Pacific before returning. They returned to their lone car, the “town” having packed up and left after the market day.
Who’s carrying the drum sticks in the newspaper photo? It doesn’t look like Curtis.
Merry Christmas, late Happy Chanukah, Joyous solstice, and festive Festivus (for the rest of us.)
