Interview in Grist

3:46 pm, by tricky coyote

Grist Magazine calls its news “gloom and doom with a sense of humor,” and I’ve long thought of them as the hippest enviro site on the planet. Funny punny is often the mode. So I was stoked when they asked me to be their featured “Interactivist” for the week, which amounts to doing an interview wherein I’m invited to soapbox. Then their readers send in queries, too.

Over the course of the week, I’ll answer questions about what I do for the organization and what the organization does for the world. The feature allows us to demonstrate what we do; it also gives folks the chance to ask how they can put their beliefs into action. And it gives me a chance to try a little hell raising. (Some of which has been edited out of the interview, prolly due more to wordiness than the Patriot Act.)

I like to feel like I’m not missing any big environmental stories, and reading their Daily Grist email makes it fun.
